A Christmas Carol

That one classic Christmas musical, based on the novel by Charles Dickens, all about that one guy named Scrooge who's super bitter about life and has everything but a Christmas spirit. Going on a ghost trip to the past, present and future makes poor Ebenezer Scrooge realize why he's become so sad inside, and the consequences it will bring not only to his life, but to those around him.

So, of course, by the end of musical, he finds his long lost Christmas spirit and runs around making amends.

The main child role is the little boy Tiny Tim, the sick son of Scrooge's clerk, Bob Cratchit. The many other children in the cast include the other Cratchit children, chorus, and multiple ensemble roles.

The show originally ran on the Madison Square Garden stage every holiday season between 1994 and 2003.
